We are a multidisciplinary team who have the business acumen, industry network, and combined engineering experience to produce products for a wide variety of highly-regulated industries in accelerated timelines.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our contract manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ISO9001 and ISO13485 standards, a proven track record of leadership, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish, and a commitment to meeting production schedules and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of production employees.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Production Management
- Oversee all aspects of the production process to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Plan and schedule production runs to meet customer deadlines.
- Monitor production output and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow.
- Manage and maintain the Preventive Maintenance program.
- Participate in the Corrective Action Processes.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, both in English and Spanish.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Safety and Compliance
- Enforce all safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintain compliance with all environmental regulations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in all areas of operations.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and new technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a contract manufacturing setting
- Proven experience managing and leading a production team
- Strong understanding of ISO9001 and ISO13485 standards
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
