Job Description:

The Software/App Engineering Internship at Hatch is designed for individuals passionate about software development and eager to gain experience in creating robust software solutions and applications for consumer interaction. Working closely with our engineering team, you will contribute to developing software that powers the next generation of products in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of software applications and frameworks.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing software through debugging and optimization.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and translate them into functional software.
• Assist in the development of mobile or web applications to interface with our products.
• Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.
• Document development processes and software specifications.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with mobile app development (iOS/Android) or web development technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and life cycles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
