He is an expert in global sourcing, a critical skill in today's political climate where tariffs can be a significant factor in the final bill of materials. His long-standing relationships with key manufacturers and component suppliers allow clients to benefit from strategic component sourcing, cost efficiencies, and future-proof product planning. This networked approach plays a critical role in Hatch’s ability to deliver innovative, manufacturable products on accelerated timelines. He genuinely enjoys his role, thriving on the challenge of building complex products for a diverse range of clients.

With over 23 years of experience developing consumer products for global markets, George has worked on a number of groundbreaking technologies, guiding them from the development phase into mass production. Other career highlights include the development and mass production of the world's thinnest laptop, the world's thinnest phone, the most rugged phone, and the first dual-screen phone. His experience also includes developing augmented reality glasses, a key signal of his ability to innovate within ever-growing markets. His work helps to establish a new product category that is poised to be integrated into society, shaping the next generation of technology.

At Hatch, George oversees regulatory and device validation testing required to bring new products to fruition. He specializes in product architecture for unique and technically ambitious products and has successfully competed against some of the largest players in the wireless space. An award-winning designer with more than 20 registered patents, George previously ran the Product Development Technologies (PDT) UK office in Oxford and has worked alongside Hatch CEO Mark Schwartz for over two decades. Originally from the UK, he holds dual citizenship in the United States.
